Towering over the main road through the small village of Kilnsey in Upper Wharfedale is Kilnsey Crag, a centre for fishermen and those interested in nature and rare flora in the area. The Crag, a massive limestone overhanging cliff popular with climbers and the focus of the annual “Show” and fell race held around late August each year. Here seen in winter, the scene transforms throughout the seasons bringing vibrant colours to the valley.
