Only the foolhardy will walk or drive around Sandsend headland in these conditions. But they do, frequently. The power and majesty of the sea can only be admired with awe. But should only be admired with caution from a distance. It looks so much better like this than when you are covered by it and don’t have spare clothes.

For example, if you only like part of an image you can ask, via the Contact Page , for us to crop it down. This service is available for a fee of just £2.00 per image. Before we put your altered image into production we will confirm with you that we have got it right via our Email notification system.
