The simplest of things can make a satisfying picture. Out for a walk with my dog and camera after a spring shower, I came upon a neighbour’s garden. He had a colourful display of tulips planted in neat rows. The raindrops were still clinging to the tulip petals as the sun burst through the clearing clouds. The image made itself, I just pointed the camera and pushed the button. Meg did wonder why I was lying on the floor though.
